Who is responsible

The data controller within the meaning of Article 4(7) of the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679, “GDPR”) is:

We have not appointed a data protection officer. Article 37 GDPR does not require one here, because we carry out no large-scale monitoring and process no special categories of data. All data protection enquiries go to info@veldovna.online.

What we do not do

• We set no cookies of any kind — not analytical, not advertising, not “essential”.
• We use no localStorage, sessionStorage or IndexedDB. Nothing is written to your browser's storage.
• We run no analytics — no Google Analytics, no Matomo, no self-hosted alternative, no server-side analytics product.
• We embed no advertising or conversion pixel, from any network.
• We attempt no device or browser fingerprinting.
• We load no third-party resources. No web fonts, no CDN-hosted libraries, no remote images, no embedded video, no social widgets, no maps. Every file the page requests comes from veldovna.online.
• We operate no contact form, no newsletter and no user accounts, so there is nothing for you to submit.
• We sell nothing and share nothing, because we hold nothing to sell or share.

Server logs

Like any web server, the machine serving this site records technical information about requests so the service can run and be defended against attack. This typically includes the IP address that made the request, the date and time, the page requested, the HTTP status code, the volume of data served, and the browser's user-agent string.

• Purpose: delivering the site, diagnosing faults, and detecting and preventing abuse of the server.
• Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in operating a functioning and secure website. Our balancing assessment concluded that this minimal, technically necessary processing does not override your interests, particularly as the data is not combined with anything else, not used to build a profile, and not used to identify you.
• Retention: log entries are kept for a short operational period and then deleted or rotated out in the ordinary course. They are not archived for analysis.
• Recipients: nobody. Logs are not exported, not shared with advertisers and not used for any marketing purpose.

If you write to us

If you send an email to info@veldovna.online, we necessarily process the content of your message and your email address in order to reply.

• Purpose: answering your enquiry, handling a correction request, or dealing with a legal matter you raise.
• Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us; or Article 6(1)(c) where we are under a legal obligation to keep the correspondence.
• Retention: for as long as needed to deal with the matter and for a reasonable period afterwards in case it recurs, and then deleted. Correspondence relating to a legal claim is kept until the relevant limitation period expires.
• Recipients: the message is handled by the responsible editor. Our email is carried by a standard business email provider acting as a processor under Article 28 GDPR.

Partner links and what happens when you follow one

This site is funded by partner (affiliate) commissions. Some links lead to a merchant's website. Following such a link takes you off veldovna.online, and from that point the merchant's and the affiliate network's own privacy policies apply, not this one.

Two things you should know:

• Nothing about you is transmitted by us. We do not append an identifier for you, we do not know who you are, and we do not receive from the merchant any information about whether you bought anything or what you bought. We are paid on aggregate, not on individuals.
• The merchant may set its own cookies on its own site, typically to attribute the referral. That happens on the merchant's domain, under the merchant's policy, after you have left this site.

If you arrive at this site with advertising parameters already in the address bar (for example msclkid or utm_source, added by an ad platform before you reached us), those parameters are passed along to the merchant's link when you click it, so the advertiser can attribute its own campaign. They are not stored, not logged for analysis, and not read for any purpose of ours. If you remove them from the address bar, the site behaves identically.

International transfers

The site is served from within the European Union and we transfer no personal data outside the European Economic Area. If you email us, your message is handled by an email provider within the EEA.

Automated decision-making

There is none. We carry out no profiling and no automated decision-making producing legal or similarly significant effects within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR.

Children

This site is aimed at adults and does not knowingly process any data relating to children. Since it processes no visitor data at all, no age verification is required or performed.

Your rights

Under Articles 15 to 22 GDPR you have the right to request access to your personal data, to have inaccurate data rectified, to have data erased, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. You may object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing based on our legitimate interest.

In practice, because we hold nothing about visitors, a request will usually be answered by confirming that we hold no data relating to you. If you have written to us, we can retrieve and supply that correspondence. To exercise any right, write to info@veldovna.online. We will respond within one month of receipt, as required by Article 12(3) GDPR, and may extend that by two further months for complex requests, telling you if we do. We may need to ask a question to establish that the request genuinely comes from you.

Right to complain

If you believe we have processed your data unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your residence or place of work. Our lead authority is:

You are welcome to raise the matter with us first at info@veldovna.online, but you are not obliged to.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. It is a set of static files: there is no database, no login, no user-generated content and no form handler, which removes most of the ways a website leaks personal data. We keep the server patched and restrict administrative access.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the site works we will update this page and change the date at the top. If a change ever introduced any collection of personal data, we would say so prominently rather than quietly amending the text.
